History is made again as a new social political forum is lunch, the movement Jos Political Coalition forum cut across Politicians, traditional leaders, Imams, professors and other accomplished public servant.    

Delivering his paper the chairman of the occasion Alh.Yakubu IBN Muhammad (former of DG NTA) on the tittle Peaceful co-existence as a panacea for social political growth of societies highlighted some of the necessary tools needed for peace building which include education, interfaith dialog, mediation in conflict resolution engaging the civil societies organizations through program and project and carrying the media. On his opening remark the convener and former house of representative member, during the second republic, Rt. Hon. Baba Akwawu stressed the need for the Jasawa community to come together peace unity and progress of the, political class loss focus and the circle is left to the hands of those that are not politician “is a fact that we the policeman refuse to do the needful, a lot of things had happened in the name of politics, but like I said the most importantly the forum is to form a formidable political front that will pilot the political activities of our people, we have the population” he also added that the political nomination is left on the hands of few individuals, “if you look at the last twenty-four years our representation is nothing to write about” other objectives of the forum include sensitization, mobilization, community service in general the forum is beyond endorsement is a social political forum.

Discussing the paper the national secretary of Jama’atul Nasirul Islam (JNI) Sheikh Khalid Aliyu on the topic using Islamic values for social-political growth and development of plateau state) pointed out that even word Islam is derived from Salam meaning peace, love, appetence and happy sighted the early life of prophet Muhammad, how his attitude and accomplishment to everyone is a great lesson, he further suggests that government should introduce a preaching laws, as there is spread of half bake scholars.

Narrating the history and politics of the people of Jos of today versus growth and development, “Understanding of your history determine your participation we are part of Jos our parents are born here, in every society you must understanding your history, “When you said Jasawa is a combination of tribes like Yuruba, kanuri, Fulani, Ganawuri they are all part of Jasawa because they all form a one tribe called Jasanci”.

Tragedy at the National Assembly: Customs Officer Passes Away

Tragedy struck at the National Assembly on Tuesday when a senior officer of the Nigeria Customs Service passed away during a meeting with a House Committee. According to a statement released by House Spokesman Akin Rotimi, the officer suddenly fell ill at approximately 1 pm and despite prompt medical attention from first responders and the National Assembly Clinic's medical team, sadly succumbed to his condition. Nass Out of respect for the family's privacy, the officer's identity has not been disclosed at this time. The House of Representatives extends its heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the deceased and stands ready to support investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
