Concern PDP Muslim Youth Council paid a courtesy visit to Plateau State Governor-elect.


A coalition Muslim PDP Youth in Plateau state called Concern PDP Muslim Youth Council paid a congratulatory visit to Plateau Satet Governor-elect Barrister Caleb Mutgwang. Leading the delegation Hon. Kabiru Garkuwa, while delivering the Goodwill message  stated that the Council embarked on the visit to thank the Governor and show their unwavering faith and support for the victory at the recently concluded election.

In his speech, Garkuwa, “Praised God for the glorious victory achieved by our dear Party PDP in general elections”  He also Added that, “with the like of his Excellency's at the helm of affairs in governance, Plateau State will be in safe hands”. He as well commended the commitments and the sacrifices of Hon. Yary Kumci, appreciated his kind support and benevolence always accorded to the group.

Garkuwa also appreciate other officials among are   Hajiya Jamila Gwandu, Alh. Aminu Abdullahi (Jos North PDP Chairman), Party officials, Stakeholders, Wards Chairmen and various Youth Group Leaders for their doggedness, commitments and sacrifices especially during collation processes.

In his responds The Governor-elect , appreciated the council for believing in Mutfwang/Piyo ticket and for standing firm and resolute for their success.

Barrister Mutfwang, appreciate the energy and enthusiasms, which the council deployed wholly in the campaign season and the electioneering period.

While calling on the Muslim faithful’s to imbibe the spirit of holy month of Ramadan and embrace each other, that we believed is part of lessons we do gain in holy month of Ramadan.

In his words "I said it and I'm now amplifying, everyone is welcome on-board. As long as you are a lover of Plateau State, you're my brother and sister”. “We need to join hands together and move our state to the greatest height."

He thank all the people in the entourage and wished everyone return back safely to their respectively, highlight of the visit include presentation of congratulatory letter, and photo session.

JUST NOW: Woman Caught with Stolen AK-47

Security forces apprehended a middle-aged woman, Aisha Abubakar, from Katsina State, while she was on a bus traveling to Abuja from Katsina. The woman was found in possession of a stolen AK-47 rifle, prompting her arrest. Suspected Aisha Abubakar  During interrogation, Aisha revealed that she was driven by extreme hunger and desperation to accept the task from unknown individuals. She claimed that she was instructed to transport the weapon to a designated location near Yantumaki, where the owners would retrieve it. Aisha maintained that this was her first involvement in such a dangerous and illegal activity, and that her dire circumstances left her with little choice but to accept the job. Her statement highlights the devastating impact of poverty and hunger on individuals, leading them to engage in illicit activities out of desperation.

Tragedy at the National Assembly: Customs Officer Passes Away

Tragedy struck at the National Assembly on Tuesday when a senior officer of the Nigeria Customs Service passed away during a meeting with a House Committee. According to a statement released by House Spokesman Akin Rotimi, the officer suddenly fell ill at approximately 1 pm and despite prompt medical attention from first responders and the National Assembly Clinic's medical team, sadly succumbed to his condition. Nass Out of respect for the family's privacy, the officer's identity has not been disclosed at this time. The House of Representatives extends its heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the deceased and stands ready to support investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
