Opinion/ THE YOUTH SHOULD KNOW. TIME FOR YOUTH TO WAKE UP FROM THEIR LONG SLUMBER.

Amb. Sanusi Muhseen Harun.

Our Old Politicians are satisfied with their barbaric thinking, the governance is so effective to let the penniless, the young Nigerian citizens and the unemployed the  populace at large go hungry, this old men loots and mess up the polity. Incredible Nigeria!

We are not too young to rule, but the dilemma is most of the youth have phobia, that is why speaking their mines is the case, but I am convinced that yes we can rule, we may lack the huge funding for electioneering processes but shunning and retiring this old politician will revolutionise the political sphere for we the young one's, and election won't be a money bag contest again.

With facts and realities on ground, winner of our crooked political game is certainly the older one's who uses Machiavellian tactic to deliberately exploit their perceived brainlessness of we the younger patriotic masses for their own political launch and Transit.

At times, we the youths thinks we are enjoying political dramas but unknowingly playing the central character of the Corpse of the Joker, the screenplay of which is written by the consensus committee of all the old politicians representing every current political party and directed by the head of the government . This is Nigeria, the largest democracy in the world. It is sorry to say that what we urgently need is “the final solution to our political problems” and it is we the young ones that can give that answer by wrestling power out of the older ones.

Let's start searching for young and vibrant leaders come in future, leaders who can productively raise the common community and Nigeria day-to-day issues like lack of food, anti corruption war, infrastructural development and restructuring, maintaining the Educational system which is the key factor to development, and I mean a personality that would truly walk the talk.

The youth are powerful, We pay the future of our future, we have to demand the change, the youth were ignored by our so called 90s leaders they are they ones since democracy, the people ruling us in the early 60s are the once in this century Aren't you tired of this parody.  The change is within the youth, the youth have a vocal voice to speak. There is nothing wrong with change, if it is in the right direction. We have to wake up from our long slumber the time for revolutionary politics is coming.

Oh my democratically elected leaders, are you thinking positive? Have you use your power in a positive or negative way, did you ever think of the poorly that are under you. Oh I see, they forgot that day, the day of retribution, Oh I see that they are never cruel too, or unkind to their foes

the fire and brimstone, time for doom, a promise that promises more promises, and more hits that mises.

This is indeed a time for pack some victims, with vice wearing virtue's disguise, the puppy eyes, and soft tones follow, and the good leaders tell that story about the out, the desire was in master chef of tough decision no one would cook such  tough decision took no more efforts than look and comes back to the pack with those dry eyes.

Picture the future when our bad leaders boost the loot, the followers that follow willingly to that heavy foot oblivious, the bad leaders studies the option of the end.

Remember faces that smiles at them but non of them is a friend to save from the hardship of life, the poor are always being poorly, the shedding blood continued blooding like a river of blood. Remember the time to be turn unturned.

By Abdullahi Abdulhafiz Aliyu In today’s fast-changing digital landscape, access to technology is no longer a luxury—it is a necessity. Yet, for millions of Nigerians, especially people with special needs, the digital world remains out of reach due to systemic barriers and a lack of inclusive learning opportunities. My work as a journalist and digital advocate has focused on breaking these barriers, ensuring that technology serves as a tool for empowerment rather than exclusion. Through my engagement with individuals with disabilities and as the host of Duniyar Fasaha (Fasaha World) on Unity FM, I have worked to bridge the digital divide by providing foundational digital education to marginalized groups. By introducing people with special needs to basic computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet navigation, I have witnessed firsthand how technology can unlock new opportunities and transform lives. Digital Skills for Special Needs: A Path to Inclusion Inclu...

Reps Approve Tinubu’s Emergency Rule Request for Rivers State

The House of Representatives has approved President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s request to impose a state of emergency in Rivers State following heightened political tensions and security concerns. The decision, made during a plenary session on Wednesday, comes after weeks of instability in the oil-rich state, where political clashes and reports of pipeline vandalism have raised national security concerns. Why the Emergency Rule? The crisis in Rivers State stems from an ongoing power tussle between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and state lawmakers, a situation that has escalated into widespread unrest. Reports also indicate that increased incidents of oil theft and pipeline vandalism are affecting Nigeria’s economic stability. President Tinubu, in his emergency rule proclamation, suspended Governor Fubara and other elected officials, appointing retired Vice Admiral Ibokette Ibas as the military administrator to oversee the state’s affairs. House of Representatives  Legislative Endor...
