Hukumar zabe mai zaman kanta a Najeriya, INEC, ta bayyana cewa Jam'iyya mai mulki a kasar, APC, ba ta da 'yan takarar Sanata a mazabun Yobe ta Arewa da Akwa Ibom ta Arewa maso Yamma.

Saidai Kwamishinan Hukumar zabe, Festus Okoye ya ce INEC ba ta da wani dan takarar APC da zai wakilci mazabun Yobe ta Arewa da Akwa Ibom ta Arewa maso Yamma.

A wata hira da Gidan Talabijin na Channels TV, Okoye ya kara da cewa "a mazabun biyu, an gabatar da sunayen mutum biyu kuma hukumar ta yanke hukuncin cewa mutanen ba su ne halastattun wadanda suka lashe zaben fitar da gwanin da APC ta gudanar ba kuma ba mu wallafa sunayensu ba".

Ya ce APC ta dora sunayen Lawan da Akpabio cikin jerin sunayen 'yan takara a shafin intanet na INEC amma hukumar zaben ta yanke hukuncin cewa mutanen biyu ba su ne aka tsayar da su ba a zaben fitar da gwanin Jam'iyyar.

A cewar Okoye, rashin wallafa sunayen mutanen biyu da bayanansu a karkashin mazabun na nufin zuw yanzu APC ba ta da sunayen 'yan takarar a mazabun biyu.

Ko a makon da ya gabata sai da INEC ta musanta sauya kwanan watan wasu takardu domin samun damar shigar da sunayen Lawan da Akpabio a matsayin 'yan takarar kujerar Sanata a babban zaben kasar na 2023.

INEC dai ta bayyana cewa ba ta wallafa foma-foman mutanen biyu ba - matakin da ya sa aka shigar da kara wadda kuma har yanzu take gaban alkali.

Hukumar zaben ta ce hakan ne ya sa ta yi watsi da duk wata dabara ta gabatar da takardun bogi da ke tabbatar da takarar mutanen biyu a daidai lokacin da maganar ke gaban kotu.

2023 ELECTION: BVAS mock accreditation Feb 4… INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said that it would conduct a mock accreditation of registered voters in 436 polling units (PUs) nationwide, on February 4 using its Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machines. The INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, said this during a meeting with Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) on Friday in Abuja. He said that 436 Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machines would be deployed for the exercise. “As you are already aware, the commission has taken delivery of the BVAS machines for the election.
