  By Sadiq Sabo Before the local government councils election on the Plateau late last year, there was a court order restraining the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in participating in the election owing to the fact that, there were two factions in the party and other internal skirmishes within the party. Eventually, the PDP couldn't partake in the exercise and that resulted in sweeping all the seats in the state from the ward to the local government levels by the APC. As if that wasn't enough, the PDP still went into another round of election in February this year when the seat for Bassa/Jos North federal constituency became vacant as a result of the demise of the hitherto occupant Alhaji Haruna Maitala Jingir. The PDP won fraudulently but later relinquished the seat after the tribunal sacked it and affirmed by the appeal court.
